Rozanne and winter protection

Posted by sullicorbitt z5 MA (My Page) on

I just bought this greatly praised geranium and realized after the fact that it is only hardy to zone 5. After last winter and the zillion plants I lost I promised myself to only buy plants hardy to zone 4 and under. Can this plant be mulched? is there a better place to plant it? (like near the house etc.) I know what I REALLY need to do is move South!

Thanks for any suggestions,
Sheila

Sheila,
I live in Ma. also, and didn't lose my rozanne over the winter, so it should be fine for you also.
