A zonal geranium (Pelargonium) without a scent!

My sister brought home a cutting of a beautiful, pure red, semi-double zonal from Co. Clare a couple of years ago. Lately she gave me a couple of plants from the few she now has; I noticed last week by chance and have confirmed constantly since that the leaves do not have the pungent scent zonal geraniums usually have, they in fact have no scent whatsoever. My sister didn't notice this because she unfortunately has no sense of smell. Has anyone heard of a plant such as this? I would be interested to know if it is a named cultivar.
