| I have one plant of Buxton's Blue that I grew from seed several years ago. I started with 5 plants but it is not really hardy here.I keep babying it along to have a blue geranium that blooms in the fall, but it is one of the pinkest geraniums I grow, not even a hint of blue. Fall is already starting here and the weather cool, so it shouldn't be the heat. It is under a rose that I have to keep feeding iron chelate for Chlorosis, could that be the cause?

| I don't have Buxton's, but Johnson's Blue looks lavender to me, and only looks blue if I compare it to something pink. Photos of Buxton's Blue strike me the same way, but I know some photographs are off in regards to blues and reds. And maybe the old song says that lavender's blue, but it isn't so to me. |
