ivy geranium

HI all, I have been reading about saving geraniums and wondering if it would work the same with ivy geraniums, I hate to lose it so I think I'll try it the same way that you do the others.

Yes you can save ivy geraniums (pelargoniums). If the plant is in the ground dig it up and pot into a container using potting soil (compost). Check the plant for pests, if necessary spray against aphid etc and use a fungicide to protect against fungal diseases. Keep the plant in a well lit FROST FREE environment over winter and plant out in spring when all risk of frost has passed. If the plant is already in a container bring the container indoors and treat as above. It is important that you do not keep the plant wet just moist.

thankyou for your info, I appreciate it as I wasn't completely sure if I could do it the same way as the other geraniums.
