I have noticed seed pods on my geraniums as fall approaches. Are those seeds viable? Im talking the annual varity.

RE: seeds

The seeds should be viable but only way to tell is to try to grow them. I don't have much experience on this except for one year I grew geraniums from purchased seeds quite successfully.

Maybe someone else can chime in on harvesting the seeds and how and when to plant.

They will not produce new plants exactly the same as the parent although some may look similar to the parent. It should be a fun experiment to see what you do get if you decide to try.

Keep us posted if you do....maybe a photo journal of the process...?
