Favorite pelargonium this year

This year, my favorite is Pelargonium sidoides. It's absolutely gorgeous, with small, round crinkly gray-blue leaves with whitish hairs, and open clusters of deep-magenta flowers. Next I want to find P. x ardens (available at Geraniaceae) to try in 2006. I saw a photo and fell in love.

I sucessfully grew P.X domesticum, (Martha Wahington: Regal Pelargoniums)from seed. The seed mixture is called Regalia Mixed from Thompson and Morgan. Well worth a try.

Wow! P. sidoides is my new fave too! I love it and was able to find it locally. I hear it has herbal uses as a cough remedy. I gotta go look up x ardens.
