Hardy Geraniums

New to hardy geraniums...I sense these could be yet another plant addiction.:) Are they easy to grow from seed or would ordering plants be better? I'm in north Texas and we do have hot summers. Are there some more adaptable to hot temps? Would Jolly Bee, Springtime, and Silver Shadow be good choices? Or would someone please suggest a few for a beginner? Also the best place to order plants and/or seeds? Thank you in advance.

Karen
