| I have some with creeping charlie growing in them so I want to dig them up come spring and get rid of Charlie and transplant my geraniums,any certain method to do this |

| I did a patch of geranium (macrorhizum-type)last year, that was infested with goutweed. I dug everything up, sorting the geranium roots from the goutweed and replaced the geraniums (after also replacing a lot of the garden soil). Never lost a plant, and pretty much eliminated the goutweed, although I'm sure it will return. |
