 o
Cold-hardy Pelargonium

2011 in New Mexico turned out to be a good testing period for Pelargonium 'kavushan.' In February we had temperatures as low as 15 degrees below zero F. and in summer 20 straight days between 100 and 103 F. I grow this Pelargonium outdoors without protection year around in large pots and in the ground. Not a single plant was lost (though I lost almost half the other plants in my garden that winter).
