This guys really blooming lately, I think it's lava flow from Rob's. I need a bigger pot, I have to water every 2-3 days.

good growing! It does look like lava flow.

Wow, James! That plant is blooming itself silly! It is gorgeous. What kind of light does it receive to bloom like that? GH

growhappy, It's near a large west facing window. It's actually a little leggy as many upper leaves fall off unless I water all the time [only a small 6" hanging basket]. It's a very good bloomer.

I shtis a goldfish plant or the guppy plant??
|
Trace - Aeschynanthus is nicknamed a lipstick plant - it is a exactly how their bloom looks. I think the Nematanthus - guppy plant (bloom looks like them) and Columnea - goldfish (?) It is more accurate to use the botanical names. I saw columea advertized somewhere in a big garden "pornography" catalog as a dancing dolphins plant - sounds yummy, isn't it? Irina
