Nematanthus getting 'leggy'

Hi. I am new to houseplant management, so any help is greatly appreciated.

I bought a nematanthus in late summer and it was doing very well, blooming, and growing. Recently, however, it has stopped blooming and has gotten quite "leggy" or straggly. Don't know if it is one of the trailing types or if it just needs to be cut back. I've read that it's best to prune in spring, so should I just leave it a alone and tend to it then? Otherwise, the plant is healthy.

Thanks!
