I would think you'd be able to use this. I would think it even easier just to put the whole pebble tray under a stream of water and wipe the algae. Little work and no money!

Problem is, the pebbles get algae, too. My DH thinks I'm meticulous about the plants but he'd really hoot if he saw me washing those pebbles one-by-one.

But, you know, on a day I really want to freak him out I just might do that! :-)))

Seriously, I betcha I could put the pebbles in a collinder and rinse them with bleach water. And bleach is cheaper than algae killer.

You could put them in a cloth bag, maybe the kind you put delicates in the wash, and run them though the dishwasher.
