does your fertilizer include trace minerals? I would suspect calcium and magnesium deficiency.

It seems that you might be giving them too much fertilizer, but if they're not getting fertilizer burn, I guess you're ok.

I'm not a big strep grower so others might have genus-specific tips.

How often do you repot? I fertilize at half strength 10-15-10 and repot at least once every 3 months. If you don't repot, you need to leech the soil by running water through it to clear out fertilizer salts that have accumulated.

Also, streps deteroriate when they are left potbound too long. Leaves will yellow and distort. Frost or cold drafts could also cause yellowing of leaves. Some varieties are more sensitive than others.

These Streps belong to a friend. I'll ask her your questions but I know there are trace elements in the fertilizer she uses because I use the same. She also fertilizes with every watering.

I'll also ask her which varieties but I *think* she mentioned either Inky Fingers or Inky Frills.
