this is my first attempt at growing streps and one of them has 2 flowers. I was just long do the flowers last? Do they stay quite a while like african violets?

RE: Strep flower question...............

Generally less, but it depends on the variety and on how hot and dry your conditions are. AVs - especially green edge blossoms stay forever (or close). Really pretty streps Bristol Party Girl and Moonlit Velvet - are droppers - in my experience. Spin Art - holds blossoms really well - it is on my list of everbest - I love fantasy streps.

RE: Strep flower question...............

Irina, I'm with you! Spin Art is one beautiful fantasy and seemss to hold it's flowers a very long time. My experience with others that hold their flowers: Neil's Strawberry, Bristol's Goose Egg, Bristol's Mei Lee, Cape Baby and Snowkist Splish Splash.
