| My Gloxini, bought at the garden center a month ago has lost all of it's beautiful blooms. I water the plant every other day, it's by a window that gets sunlight throughout the day. I take care not to get water on the leaves, but I've noticed that couple leaves have brown spots.
I've never fertilized it... just watering and plenty sunlight. Any advice? |

| If the blooms have finished it is getting ready to sleep for awhile. Take off a few leaves and put in soil or water and maybe you will get a tuber, a growth that will develop into a new plant. Meanwhile this plant should sit in its pot with no leaves. Give water. It should start making little growths which should be taken off to make a new plant. Go to www.aggs.org and read all that Dale Martens has written about this charming plant. Nancy |
