My first guess would be - different genera, geographicaly remote origins (Africa and Indo-China), different amount of chromosomes (?) ... small chance.

AV closest relative is a Streptocarpella - and I do not know of any successful crosses. But - there is always somebody who does it first.

So far, there are no hybrids with C. tamiana--not even with other chiritas. But, then, that shouldn't discourage you. The way to find out is to make the cross. However, with intergeneric crosses, it often takes multiple attempts to get one pod with viable seed. So, you need to be positive and keep trying and trying.
