| I've taken a few leaf cuttings over a month ago and have rooted them. Now, are they suppose to form a tuber before I could actually plant them, or should I just plant them separately in a pot? They were rooted in light soil, not water not sand and not perlite. |

| Booth bay, if there is not a plant or tuber starting I would plant them in individual pots and leave them there. There is always the risk however, that the leaf may go into shock so if you decide to do this, make sure to put them in a baggie or clear container with a lid for a week or two to help them, then you can remove them from their temporary home and grow them on. That's my suggestion to you, maybe someone has a different way and will share. Dave |

| BB - I would just leave them there - and wait until each leaf will send you a new sprout. Sometimes tubers started from the leaf are "blind" - do not have a growth point - so it is better to wait until the new growth starts - and then you can repot them very carefully individually - just as Dave suggested.
