A question regarding Chiritas

Hi everyone,

As I live in the NewJersey area, can you tell me where your source is for the purchase of Chiritas. Do you order online and can you mention the names of mailorder businesses, please. It appears that none of the nurseries in my local area do not carry this plant. If you know of any in NJ, please list them for me.

Thank you and hoping to hear from our members, Vicki

RE: A question regarding Chiritas

Nobody--at least that I've discovered yet--down here sells Chiritas either, so I've gotten all mine from the web or mail-order. Two places in the northeast I'd recommend highly--Rob's Violet Barn and Lauray of Salisbury. I've ordered from both and I've always been pleased. You could go to the web-site of the Gesneriad Society and check for their advertisers too--and I suppose it's a good idea to check the GardenWatchdog for other people's reports.

I just got a shipment of mostly Chiritas from Lyndon Lyon, and they are beautiful. Very healthy little plants!

Thanks for the information. I can order either from Lyndon Lyon or Rob's as both are conveniently located in my area.
