| KS-girl - it is one gorgeous plant you have! And you can take it outside in KS!!! I am green from envy. So many of them, I think 1200 in the wild, tons of hybrids, big box stores sell unnamed hybrids. I got 1 from Home Depot, it grew bushy, not trailing - and took it to the lady who has PhD in gesneriads and has a special interest in Columneas - and she told me - this is a hybrid - with very possibly this species in its ancestry. Duh... The only way you could confirm that it is it - if you find somebody who grows it - and put them side by side. Or if you got it from a person - interrogate this person. Still envious Irina |
