When can I remove the seed pods from a Strep? While they're still green? When they turn brown?

Thanks,

Linda

best to wait until it dries. There's a good thread in the gallery.

Here is a link that might be useful: gallery thread

RE: Strep Seeds

Linda - and do not seed them all.

Dale Martens says 10 to 25, because usually there is no more than several types in the whole batch.

I tried to seed my own seeds by Moonlit Velvet selfing - and got tons of them - of 2 types - one - like MV, the second - regular blue with pale throat, that's it. Not worth all the space and transplanting.

Cheers

I.

PS - And I got them from the brown pod - like Komi recommended - when it just started getting dry - but before it cracked.
