anxious for my lipstick plant to bloom!!

I recently bought a young Aeschynanthus (xSplendidus), it only has 3 leafy stems about 6" long. Does anyone know when these usually begin to bloom? Also, I have it in a window with bright morning sun...is this the best lighting for it?

Place in a very light position but out of direct summer sun.
A light organic compost is best for this plant, and a hanging basket will show it off to its best. Water sparingly during the winter and allow the temperature to fall off but no less than 16C. When buds show place the plant back into a warmer environment.

I think you have a good chance of it blooming next summer.
