propagating episcias

I have been growing AVs for years, but have just delved into the episcia world. Many of the posts here have talked about using the stolons to get new plants: do I break off the little plantlet at the top of the stolon and pot that up, or do I just stick the whole long stolon into the dirt? Sorry for such a newbie question, but I figure you guys probably have this stuff down pat!

Shiver-

Episcias send roots not only from the node - but from any part of the stem. So I usually leave an inch or 2 of the stem - helps to stick them into the soil. Even better is to pin your stolon to the dirt without removing it from mama. Roots in several days, then you can separate them.

Good Luck with all other gesneriads you are going to try.
