Lipstick plant?

Can anyone out there ID this plant for me? I just purchased it after eye surgery and couldn't see the info. very clearly and I will use the same excuse, as to why the photo is also 'fuzzy....just like the leaves on the plant!

It can veryy possibly be some kind of Columnea. Looks like you have berries coming. Next time it is blooming- make a pic of a flower.
It is not a Lipstick plant - Aeschynanthus - because it doesn't have berries, it develops seed pods, plus the leaves are fuzzy - A. leaves are shiny. But to know for sure if it is a gesneriad at all - you need to show flowers.

Hopefully your eyes will recover 100%.

John has ID'ed it as Columnea gloriosa Purpurea. I had a lipstick plant many years ago, and forgot the criteria. I have never had any Columnea before either.
