There's a brown patch on the top of one of the leaves. I know it might get scorched if I give it direct sunlight but it never gets any. I have it getting bright inderect light and water it when the top is slighley dry. I was thinking maybe it was when I moved and had to put all my plants in a moving truck? but they weren't there that long, o though it was really hot.

Looks like mechanichal damage to me.
I wouldn't expect to move my plants and not suffer any losses.
I actually lost a lot when I moved just because of the change of the environment. So - it is just cosmetical and your Hisako will grow out of it.

Should I remove it? or can I leave it there?

Leave it. Except this small spot it works and feeds the plant. Keep an eye on it and if it will be spreading - remove it or cut half of the leaf off. You can cut it kinda rounded to imitate the shape of the leaf.
