Sprouting Sinningia Tubers

I ordered some tubers off of EBay and am wondering what the best way to get them to sprout is? They are mini sinningia.

I have heard to put them in a plastic bag with some perlite and place them in strong light (I have fluorescent).

I have heard to plant them with 1/3 of the bulb being exposed.

These are destined for an open top terrarium. I am wondering if I should just plant them directly in the terrarium?

Any thoughts would be very helpful! Thanks.

I sprout Sinn tubers in a bag of lightly dampened vermiculite clipped to my plant stand. Many mini Sinn tubers do grow with a portion exposed above the surface of the potting mix. I'm not sure that all do though and there are a great many hybrids. For an answer to that I would email the seller you bought them from as to the behavior of the specific ones you purchased.
