propogating alsobia dianthiflora

I had posted this a couple months ago in the houseplants forum, but I still cant get it to work. How can I propagate this from cuttings? I tried once in a mini humidity dome, and they never rooted, I also tried outside the humidity dome, and it dried up. What is the best way to do this, and how long before I notice roots?

Thanks everyone

Trace, I have typically in the past either laid them on the top of the medium (different for everyone, but fast draining) or root pretty shallow. I keep my cuttings in baggies(freezer size) and mist them, if you see any condensation, open the bag for a while, this will cause them to rot. Mine have taken a few weeks, be patient, as long as they look healthy, give them a chance.

Hope this helps
