Bugs or 'sunburn' on streps??

I can't remember where it was (off internet) I had read something
about sunburn on streps, and I wonder if my 3 big ones have that. I'm not
sure how big the bugs would be, if that's the problem. I know what mites and
some other of the other creatures look like, and I even took a magnifying
glass to the leaves and don't see any "life." I have accidentally a few
times left the sheers open too much and the streps did get some sun on
them...but it was through sheer curtains. Do you have any thoughts on
that?? This is on the leaves..and looks kind of like there is no green on this area...not real big..maybe the size of a thumbnail. Reading one of the postings about different kinds of creatures that attack the streps, got me all worried? Thanks a bunch - Barb

| By no green on the area, do you mean brown? I've sunburned a couple of my streps. The color fades, sometimes turns a tan/brown color and eventually becomes crispy in that area. Do you have a pic of your problem? |
