How is the tuber? All sinningias will resprout from their tubers if the top growth dies. Putting it in a ziplock is probably a good idea but watch it for signs of too much moisture and humidity (if that is possible). When I get new plants in the mail I often put them in baggies or under domes that fit over a flat. They seem to recover best on my lightstand rather than in a window.

Thank you Jon_D. I checked the tuber and it looks fine. I put the Ziploc with the plant on my lightstand. We'll see what happens.
