| My NOID episcia has just burst into bloom (seems to love the new homebrew (pun intended) beer fertilizer I'm giving it).
Thought I'd share the Christmas cheer.

| Somewhere I read someone saying she(he?) always removed the blooms from episcias. I've been enjoying the really Christmas-y blooms on some of mine, too. Some would hardly be worth looking at, with dry air and sometimes-spotty care, if they weren't full of bloom. Really cheery, aren't they? (I must confess, tho', I do take the blooms off some that clash with their foliage.) |
