| Can someone tell me if Sunflowers can be started indoors several months before spring arrives? I am going to be growing Mammoth Russians (Diane's strain) this year and since I live in zone 4 (brr brr) dont have alot of time for growing. *I would like to have a pretty good size head around the first week of August....If I use Halogen lights and a really BIG tree pot,(or perhaps a smaller one?) could it be done indoors? If so, When should I start? any advise would be helpful! Thanks for your time. |
