You can make your own compost tea brewing system for about $20. I am doing a garden for the first time this year, so I don't have any stories about huge vegetables yet. Everyone that sees my garden says that it looks great. Despite all the rain we have had in New England and lack of sun, I think the tea is the reason for my garden actually growing. I make a batch of tea about once a week.

If you have the right equipment you can put one together free. I use a 55 gallon food grade barrel I had for rainwater when I lived in the city. I also had several aquariums so the air pump was no problem.Depending on how much you use all you need is a 55 gal plastic barrel,a air stone,air pump,enough line to reach the bottom of the barrel.I feel the barrel with well water,if you use city water let it sit 24 hours first with the air running to get rid of the chlorine.Then put in any good compost,one cup of molasses and 2 packs of activated yeast.Let it bubble for 24 hours than use it within 24 hours.Using this I have lots of giant tomatoes (4 pound range) and watermelon (200 pounds)Next year I want to try pumpkin,cabbage and cucumbers that's if I can find the seed I'm looking for.Good Luck
