O. S. Cross cabbage

| Hello all you giant vegetablists
I have just purchased a li'l baby O.S. Cross 40lb cabbage seedling-ish plant. It has 8 leavs and is about 5" tall, when should I plant it outside and how do I grow it?? I have never attempted a giant and I have never grown cabbage, any advice?

| Cabbage, and all its cole crop cousins, are cool season plants. You should be good to plant it out now. I have always used standard issue garden fertilizer(10-10-10) with good results, but have never gone for giants. |
