when to start Gaint Pumpkin seeds

I would like to know when to start my AG seeds. I live in zone 7 with a last frost date of April 14. It would really be nice to have pumpkins ready @ halloween. I also have a nice setup to germinate and grow seedling inside.

| 10 days before your last frost date. Being you live in zone 7. You can almost get two seasons. An early one before it gets super hot and then figure your next planting time 135 days before halloween. The heat is going to be your biggest problem. |

| I live in MS.Last year i planted the second week of May.The pumpkins held up good for halloween.This year i am planting the first of May.The heat is hard on them but the humidity caused the mildew that stopped my season short. |
