Good instant fertalizer

I am looking to grow a couple of Atlantic Giant plants on a freinds property. I live in the city so one plant takes up my entire yard. Can anyone suggest a fertalizer I could apply now and still get good results. I understand that ideally one would start preparing the soil the previous fall. I would appreciate any suggestions.

thanx,
Andy

Fish and Kelp....Molasses...Anything Organic....The more organics you can get added the better your final results are going to be. Don't forget to go with a good systemic insecticide like Merit. For one plant it will be more economical to just use Granular Grubex. With the active ingredient being Imacloropid. Good Luck and Grow them big.
