| Hello all,
I have a square foot garden on the patio of my condo. I am growing zucchini in 2 squares (2 plants each square). They are really doing well this year and I have a really big zucchini! It is about the size of my head in diameter and about 16 inches or so long. It seems that it has stopped growing about a week ago. I think it'd be fun to enter it into the county fair competition, but that is a little over a month away. Do you think it will last that long? I'm not sure what happens if you don't pick a zucchini, will it rot quickly after it has stopped growing? Tips for keeping this baby alive until fair time would be appreciated! Thanks, Rachael |
