I was given these in a trade and am looking forward to getting them in dirt soon...any pumpkin growers out there that want to share some excitement with me?!

I'm thinking it is Big Max seed? I think I grew this variety several yrs. ago. I ended with a pumpkin of 150-200 lbs. I'm guessing. Good luck! Douglas

I'm doing a Big Max for the first time. The vine is now 10 feet long with 3 pumkins waiting to be pollinated. If Big Mac and Big Max are the same thing, I'd be interested in sharing notes as a first timer.

Sounds good to me! I didn't realize I'd have to hand polinate...how do I do that?
|
You won't need to hand pollinate, unless you are saving seeds. If you have plenty of bees, they do a good job. You can also hand pollinate as well, if you want, in case the bees don't find the flower(or if you have a shortage of bees).
