A Picture of my big Canteloupe

Hey ya'll, here's a picture of a canteloupe I just harvested a few days ago, thought you might like to see it. Put it beside my basketball for size comparison. I couldn't get a weight for it, sorry.

| Thanks! I was pretty pleased with the size. Taste is pretty good too. It's the Weeks N.C. Giant variety. I heard Weeks had a big fire and is no longer in business, this was grown from an old pack that was in a little country store and was dated for the 2000 season. I had rather poor germination percentage, but what germinated (2 plants) did just fine. |

the variety is mostly likely nc giant with a max size of 63 lbs some odd oz's. |

| Oh, North Carolina Giant, sorry . . . I thought it was the North Carolina Giant variety, like it said on the seed packet. I stand corrected . . . or something. ;^) |
