Hi I grew several Okra varieties Clemson spineless, perkins long pod and and variety from Thailand all produced pods roughly the same size nearly a foot long, I added plenty of fertilizer and the plants went wild growing over ten feet and branched out to nearly the same hight as the main stock. I'm trying to develope a variety that has super long pods by crossing vaious Okra relitives. I don't know how it will work out as it will take a couple of years before I know if it worked. George W. | George, do you still have any seeds from any of the non-crossed varieties? I'm trying several kinds of okra myself. Not trying to make it the biggest, but just collect some varieties I don't already have. |
