Anyone have giant okra seed ?

There are at least three different varieties I've heard about:

Southern "cowhorn", Red Japanese,and "Becks".

Do a google search on "giant okra" and you will turn up several sources for it. I want to try it next spring too.

Hi I grew several Okra varieties Clemson spineless, perkins long pod and and variety from Thailand all produced pods roughly the same size nearly a foot long, I added plenty of fertilizer and the plants went wild growing over ten feet and branched out to nearly the same hight as the main stock. I'm trying to develope a variety that has super long pods by crossing vaious Okra relitives. I don't know how it will work out as it will take a couple of years before I know if it worked.

George, do you still have any seeds from any of the non-crossed varieties? I'm trying several kinds of okra myself. Not trying to make it the biggest, but just collect some varieties I don't already have.
