| What variety of sunflower is huge headed and has very black seeds? I have just returned from the state fair and this mystery variety wins every year. I have tried Dianne's mammoth and sunzilla, but cannot get close and they both look very different. Thanks for any help!! |

| The biggest heads are typically grown with Dianes strain or Russian Mammoth. It's unusual that a dark black seed is growing very wide. What was the width? I've been growing Dianes and another variety called green goliath with mixed results, 16" - 24" diameter. |
