Hi...Im growing a hubbard that was supposed to be bluegrey and warty....it looks like its green and slightly rough, but not warty. I know giant green squash can change to blue as they mature so bluegrey is still possible, but where's the bumps? I have marina di chioggias growing...a warty turban type...and the warts come on early in life. Anyone out there ever grow New England hubbards? When do you start to get the warts? My fruit is 50-55 inches in circumference so its 3-4 weeks old now.......thanks...S
