Competition weight of bell peppers

Our annual fair is next week.
I have blue ribbon for the largest weight maters previously.
This year I would like to go for the largest weight sweet bell peppers.
I can't pull all the peppers cause the fair is next week, but I pulled one that was over prime for entering the fair and that one weighed in at almost 1lb.
Anyone ever enter bell peppers for the largest peppers and what is/was your weight?
Thanks!

RE: Competition weight of bell peppers

Unfortunately I do not have a fair for any veggies except giant pumpkins that I know about.

Can you tell us your biggest tomato and the variety it was. I am going to try to grow a big tomato next year.

what variety of pepper are you growing. I only grow chile peppers. I find bell peppers just do not work for me. There was talk about a contest to grow the largest or longest Big Jim pepper this year. Might have been out of England. I forget. I think it was an internet contest where anyone could enter. I skipped on it.
