Help with my Pumpkins

I just checked my pumpkins a few minutes ago and they are about the size of a baseball to a softball size. Then I noticed that there are tons of flowers on them as well. It is Sept 4th, 2004. Will they grow big enough for Halloween?

My mother-in-law planted seeds in my garden sometime in June. Was this too late to plant them or just in time?

I also noticed that a lot of the green leaves are dying.

Please help me? Is there something that I can fertilize them with to make them grow faster???

If you remove the flowers and all of the extra tiny pumpkins, the plant can then focus its energy on the softball sized pumpkins, and you might get some decent ones.
