| Bad news kids. No square pumpkins this season. My best pumpkin stopped growing when it was about the size of a volleyball.(big max my butt) I should've made at least one box smaller than 12"x12"x12". My varmit troubles never abated either. Between the gophers and the deer, I had no luck at all.
All is not lost though. I picked up a hydroponic kit this week and I plan to try to grow some indoor pumpkins over the winter. I might even give square tomatos a try as well. Thanks to everyone for all your advice and help. Opiem |

| A square tomato would fit well on a slice of bread. Make it cylinder-shaped to fit on hamburger buns. But how do you slice a square watermelon? |
