| First year at gardening and I just had to try growing a giant pumpkin. I thought it was giant when I bought the seeds, then realized that Big Max are only tiny giants. Well, I had 3 growing on one vine. I left all 3 because they were growing nice. The middle one went to mush. One weighed in at 31 lbs. The final one weighed 39 lbs. It was still growing but a frost killed the vine Sunday night. Maybe I can find some AG seeds for next year. I don't need a 1500 lbs pumpkin, but it would be cool to see how big I could grow. I just don't have a truck to get it to the fair, and I couldn't make enough pies to use it up. They are fun to grow anyway.
