New World Record Pumpkin ! ! !

It's official ! ! ! *** ! ! ! $ $ $
The new World's Record Pumpkin this year Grow by Alan Eaton
of Richmond Canada ,and it weighed in at 1446 lbs. at the Port Elgin Pumpkinfest on Oct. 2nd 2004.

Does anyone know of any other records this year ?

We had a world record one grown here in Alaska about ten miles from where I live this year but you would have to look it up on the internet. Not as large I don't think as the one you are talking about.

I heard the Alaska pumpkin record was shattered this year. It was over 700lbs.

yes that's true, although the largest officially weighed pumpkin was grown last year and weighed 1458 lbs, however it had a small pin hole in it.

Oh, that was Richmond Ontario, not Richmond BC. I live very close to Richmond BC.
