This is my first Ginger. It has NO ID and I am not sure how to care for it. Any help is appreciated.

Sorry, I can't help you. I don't know of any ginger that has serrated leaves. Gingers are related to bananas and heliconias and product stalks (pseudostem in bananas). New leaves emerge from the center of the stalk in most cases. The growth of your plant makes me think it's not a ginger.

Looks more like an agave.

Thank you both for the advice. I got this in a swap. I just took better pictures and am going over to the "name that plant" forum for help. After looking at the pictures of agave, I really don't think it matches those descriptions. It has soft leaves (almost lily-like) and at the base of each stem is a flat wide piece. New pics show that. Thanks again for your time.

I believe you have a cattletonia orchid.
