I live on the Pacific coast of Mexico. I planted some edible ginger root that was sprouting. It's growing well, but the tips of the leaves are dying. They're brown and papery. Anyone know what causes this?

check the obvious first. Not enough water.? Or too much sun and heat. It's probally around 100 degrees there right now.? If not these, could be the soil. Sorry, I'm not much help.
