Is it feasible to keep white butterfly ginger as indoor plant?

| I heard these need full sun. I bought some seeds. I would like to know if I can keep them indoors. I also would like to know how many years it takes for the seedlings to flower. |

Never tried the butterfly but I did have a 3 gallon curcuma domestica grow and bloom from scratch in my office in artifical light. It got about 5' tall. Was I ever the envy of the office.
