| I am looking for resources for the care and growing of renealmia. I know they are tropical plants, and I live in zone 8, but I do not know how much sunlight, water, etc that I should provide. Any help will be appreciated. |

| Without knowing the species, it is difficult to say much. They hate cold weather and like the usual rich, well drained soil, fertilizer etc that most gingers like. light requirements vary species to species. There aren't too many in cultivation, and more should be. But for zone 8, i'm afraid its a lost cause for outside growing. Tim Chapman |
