| Can any one give me info on Luna Moth Ginger. I bought a plant and I wonder how well it does in South Florida. I'm not familiar with Gingers and I bought one at a plant fair for something different. I can't find much on the web. Does it bloom during the day or night?
Thanks. |

| It will bloom day and night, I think it was probably named luna moth because the flower shape is similar to a moth and the color also a light color as is the actual insect. You can find some info. on gingersrus Go to the hedychiums and find luna moth. James |

| hello, I have searched the Google and here is what I found: |
Here is a link that might be useful: habitat of luna moth
|
| I have grown this ginger for many years. It is an easy grower like all hedychiums. Part shade, lots of water, heavy feeder. The blooms of Luna Moth are white, not pale green like the insect, but it does really look like a moth. |
